I'm Jess. I live in Charleston, WV. I am a nurse on a neurological floor. I mostly care for older people that have had strokes or have other problems with their noggins. Some seizures, head trauma and spinal surgery too. Lately it's also been the satellite psych ward. I work night shift, so it's even more fun since the real crazies come out at night.

You have to be freaking kidding me. People suck.

It’s when people pull shit like this that I really lose my faith in humanity. Food stamps are for people that NEED them, aka. do not have the money to pay for food. I’ll admit, that the program is abused by some people, and yes, I wish they weren’t allowed to use them to buy shitty junk food, but alas I do not have that kind of control. (How’s that for a run-on sentence? Yikes!) The system is far from perfect, but hopefully it actually is being used appropriately by those that really need it more times than not.
