I don't sleep at night... no biggie.

If we were to wake up some morning and find that everyone was the same race, creed and color, we would find some other cause for prejudice by noon. ~ George Aiken

Sad, but most likely true. People love to hate.

I'm Jess. I live in Charleston, WV. I am a nurse on a neurological floor. I mostly care for older people that have had strokes or have other problems with their noggins. Some seizures, head trauma and spinal surgery too. Lately it's also been the satellite psych ward. I work night shift, so it's even more fun since the real crazies come out at night.
Anyone that looks at my watched list on Netflix can see that my preference of television series trends toward the geeky. I watched Buffy from beginning to end when it was airing, even through the change of stations, and I’ve watched all the episodes multiple times. Although I do watch other types of shows, I do have have a tendency to lean more towards the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Netflix has been quite the enabler in this process.
My latest series, pictured above, is ‘The Adventures of Merlin’ (or just ‘Merlin’). It was, in fact, recommended by the Netflix gods and I am very much enjoying it. I started it a few days ago and am already on season 2… it helps that I’ve had the last few days off, it’s been cold, so I haven’t wanted to leave my bed, and that I am a lazy ass. I’m about to hit a problem though, there are only 2 seasons on Netflix and there is a third, so I’ll have to find somewhere on the internet to watch it. Also, it is still in production, so once I’m done with season 3, I’ll have to wait for season 4. I’m impatient, I hate waiting.
On a final note, one actually about the content of the series, is in reference to the actor playing Merlin, Colin Morgan. I cannot seem to decide whether he is good looking or not. I swear, at some angles he verges on almost devilishly handsome and then at others he could not look more dorky (I blame the ears mostly). It is very strange. The guy that plays Arthur, Bradley James, I have a somewhat similar problem with. Don’t get me wrong, he is quite handsome, but he is also British (like most of the rest of the actors) so his teeth aren’t perfect. They look ok at most angles, but at others they are a bit crooked. It’s a personal preference, I am very critical when it comes to teeth. Call me shallow if you would like.

One final thing, welcome to followers 10 and 11. I made it to double digits!
